Hi, my name is Vikram 👋 I’m a fellow gym enthusiast and a hobby web developer too.
I remember a few years ago I had signed up for three months of personal training at my gym, and it significantly changed the way I worked out. Although I haven’t done the same for a very long time, I observed something interesting — I usually knew the muscle group in advance, but never the variations that my trainer would put me through for that session.
That unpredictability matters a great deal. It helps shock your system, improves concentration, and enhances muscle growth 💪
This app is definitely not a replacement for the hard work, discipline, and motivation that personal trainers bring to the table. But I wanted my own workouts to feel truly randomized, and I also wanted to track them in a very simple, no-friction way.
At the moment, GYMBro has only a few basic features and is still in a test-run phase 🧪. I’ll be adding many more features as time goes by.
You can definitely reach out to me at [email protected] for suggestions, feedback, or ideas — I’d genuinely love to make the app better based on real input.
I’ve also built this app with privacy in mind 🔒. I don’t collect data, read user behavior, or track anything behind the scenes. For more details, please read the privacy policy below.
Full disclosure: I might add one advertisement tile or two in the future to help sustain running costs. If that happens, they’ll be non-intrusive, minimal, and classy — no flashing banners or shady trackers, promise 🤝

Privacy Policy for GYMBro
Last updated: January 2026
GYMBro is built with a simple principle: your workouts are your business. This app is designed to be privacy-first by default, with no accounts, no servers, and no hidden data flows.
1. What Data GYMBro Collects
None.
GYMBro does not collect, transmit, sell, or analyze any personal data.
There is:
- No account creation
- No email collection
- No personal identifiers
- No analytics trackers
- No third-party scripts
- No advertising networks
2. Local Storage Only
All workout-related data — including:
- Workout history
- Exercise variations
- Timestamps and duration
is stored locally in your browser using standard web storage mechanisms.
This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not accessible to us
- Is not backed up to any server
Clearing your browser data will permanently remove your workout history.
3. No Cloud, No Servers
GYMBro does not run user accounts or backend databases.
There is no cloud sync, no remote logging, and no server-side processing of your workouts.
If your internet goes down, GYMBro keeps working. That’s intentional.
4. Cookies
GYMBro does not use cookies.
No session cookies. No tracking cookies. No “essential” cookies pretending not to track you.
5. Third-Party Services
GYMBro does not integrate with:
- Google Analytics
- Meta / Facebook
- Ad networks
- Fitness platforms
- Any third-party data processors
What you do in GYMBro stays inside GYMBro.
6. Children’s Privacy
GYMBro does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Since no data is collected at all, there is nothing to misuse or retain.
7. Security
Because all data stays on your own device:
- There are no servers to breach
- No databases to leak
- No credentials to steal
Your privacy risk surface is effectively your own browser — and that’s exactly where it ends.
8. Changes to This Policy
If GYMBro ever changes how it handles data (for example, introducing optional sync or exports), this privacy policy will be updated clearly and explicitly before any change takes effect.
No silent updates. No retroactive nonsense.
9. Contact
Since GYMBro does not collect data, there’s nothing to request, export, or delete on our end.
If you have questions about how the app works or how data is stored locally, you can reach out through the official GYMBro project page OR mail me at [email protected]
